About the Role – Event-Focused Leadership
This is not a traditional AGM role. This position is heavily focused on planning, coordinating, and executing events that define the guest experience and drive business.
You will:
- Lead weekly and large-scale events, promotions, and nightlife programming
- Coordinate with DJs, vendors, and partners to create high-energy experiences
- Oversee execution on event nights to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction
- Partner with ownership and leadership to build a strong event calendar and marketing strategy
This is a hands-on, floor-driven leadership role where your ability to create and run successful events directly impacts the success of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Execution
- Plan, schedule, and execute weekly events, themed nights, and special promotions
- Coordinate logistics including staffing, vendors, entertainment, and timing
- Oversee event execution to ensure high-energy, seamless guest experiences
- Evaluate event performance and adjust programming to maximize traffic and revenue
Operations & Leadership
- Support daily bar operations in a high-volume nightlife environment
- Lead shifts, coach team members, and develop future leaders
- Maintain strong guest service standards and experience consistency
- Assist with inventory, labor management, and cost controls
Marketing & Promotions
- Collaborate on local marketing initiatives and social-driven promotions
- Help build brand presence within the Charlotte nightlife scene
- Identify opportunities to increase traffic through creative event programming
Culture & Team Development
- Foster a positive, high-energy, and accountable team culture
- Lead from the floor during peak shifts and major events
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol, safety, and operational standards
What We’re Looking For
- 2–3+ years of bar, nightlife, or hospitality management experience
- Proven experience in event planning, promotions, or nightlife programming
- Ability to execute high-volume events and manage fast-paced service environments
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Hands-on, proactive management style with strong floor presence
- Experience with scheduling, inventory, and operational controls
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with the Charlotte nightlife scene is a major plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $65,000–$75,000 (DOE)
- 50% employer-paid health coverage
