About the Opportunity
Seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for an exciting upscale dining concept. This leadership role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a guest-focused, high-service environment and enjoys building strong teams while delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Reporting directly to the Food & Beverage Director, the Restaurant Manager will oversee all front-of-house operations, partnering closely with culinary leadership to ensure seamless service, operational excellence, and memorable guest experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Lead all daily front-of-house restaurant operations
- Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing service team
- Create staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage based on business demands
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings and provide ongoing coaching and feedback
- Maintain exceptional guest satisfaction through active floor presence and table touches
- Partner closely with culinary leadership to ensure smooth service execution
- Oversee opening and closing procedures while maintaining operational standards
- Manage POS system operations, reporting, and daily functionality
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on accountability and hospitality
- Assist with special events, banquet operations, and other Food & Beverage initiatives as needed
Ideal Experience
- 3–5+ years of restaurant management experience in an upscale, steakhouse, or fine dining environment
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop front-of-house teams
- Strong background delivering exceptional guest service in high-volume operations
- Experience with scheduling, performance management, and staff development
- Knowledge of restaurant POS systems (Agilysys experience is a plus)
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards; ServSafe certification (or ability to obtain)
- Hands-on leadership style with the flexibility to support all areas of restaurant operations
