Title of Position: Restaurant Assistant General Manager 

Job Description: The Assistant General Manager plays a vital role in maintaining smooth daily restaurant operations while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. The Assistant General Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations to uphold high service and quality standards, leading and mentoring a team to deliver consistent performance and outstanding guest satisfaction. Additionally, the Assistant General Manager manages schedules, inventory, and resources to optimize efficiency and profitability. This role also involves supporting the General Manager in strategic planning and achieving operational goals, while ensuring compliance with company policies, labor laws, and safety regulations. The Assistant General Manager is instrumental in fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that aligns with company values and promotes team success.

Qualifications:  

• 4 years of supervisory experience, including alcoholic beverage service 
• Previous experience managing cost controls and POS systems preferred 
• Alcohol Service Training Course completed & ServSafe or Department of Health certification is a plus 
• Excellent customer service, organization, and communication skills (written and verbal) 
• Strong time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively 
• Proven ability to delegate tasks and work both independently and in a team 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
