Job Summary

Gecko Hospitality is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join a growing fast-casual restaurant concept focused on fresh, healthy food and exceptional guest experiences.

The Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, lead and develop team members, maintain high service standards, and help drive sales and profitability. Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of restaurant leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Positive attitude and professional demeanor
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and providing an excellent guest experience

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager with all aspects of daily restaurant operations
• Lead by example and provide outstanding guest service
• Train, coach, and motivate restaurant team members
• Help maintain staffing levels and ensure proper shift coverage
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, safety, and service standards
• Assist with opening and closing procedures
• Help manage inventory, food costs, labor, and operational expenses
• Address guest concerns professionally and effectively
• Support sales and profitability goals
• Create a positive and accountable team culture
• Assist with scheduling, employee development, and performance management
• Participate in local community events and restaurant initiatives
• Step in for the General Manager when needed
