Key Responsibilities

• Own the Operation: Take complete responsibility for daily restaurant and bar operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, service, cleanliness, and guest experiences.
• Drive Financial Performance: Independently calculate and manage food costs, beverage costs, labor percentages, prime costs, inventory, and overall profitability without relying on sophisticated corporate systems.
• Lead From the Front: Recruit, train, motivate, and hold employees accountable while building a high-performing team and positive workplace culture.
• Grow the Business: Increase sales, build guest loyalty, develop community relationships, and identify opportunities to strengthen the restaurant's reputation throughout Surprise, AZ.
• Control Costs: Manage purchasing, vendor relationships, scheduling, waste, and expenses while making smart operational decisions.
• Take Charge: Identify problems, implement solutions, and make confident decisions with an owner's mentality.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of restaurant management experience, preferably in full-service, independently operated restaurants or restaurant and bar concepts.
• Strong Financial Knowledge: Must independently calculate food costs, labor costs, prime costs, and understand restaurant P&L statements without depending on corporate reporting tools.
• Proven ability to lead restaurant teams, develop employees, and hold people accountable.
• Hands-on experience managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, purchasing, staffing, and cost controls.
• A confident, decisive, high-energy leader with excellent hospitality skills and a passion for delivering results.
