We are seeking a dependable and motivated Line Cook to join our culinary team in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about food, works well under pressure, and takes pride in maintaining consistency, cleanliness, and quality during every shift.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes, specifications, and presentation standards
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies before service
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the kitchen
- Ensure food is cooked and plated in a timely and consistent manner
- Work collaboratively with chefs and kitchen staff during service
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and proper storage procedures
- Follow all health, safety, and food handling regulations
- Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and closing duties as needed
- Maintain a positive attitude and strong sense of urgency in a busy kitchen environment
Qualifications
- Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of kitchen equipment, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
